Meet Mari, Founder and Owner

Mari, nicknamed with love by childhood friends and family, is the eldest daughter of Barry and Sherrie, whose names are honored in the name of the company.

Mari's waistbead journey began in February 2023, unintentionally but divinely coinciding with the beginning of her journey with therapy.

What started as adornment soon became an anchor for appreciating the skin she was in and the woman she was recovering and reawakening.

In early 2024, Mari had to cut her beads before undergoing surgery—an unexpected but necessary pause that only deepened her appreciation. As her body healed, so did her vision. Mari felt inspired to encourage other parentified daughters to explore healing from symptoms of CPTSD, corporate trauma, emotional solitude, rage, and frequent burnout.

Driven by faith and purpose, Mari created BERRIESEED. The journey continues.
